Since we bought annual passes to Disneyland in 2012, my daughter has gotten nearly every hairstyle offered by Downtown Disney’s Studio 365 Hair Salon, and a couple of our favorites from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, which is inside Disneyland, they also have bibbidi bobbidi boutique locations at Disney World and on Disney Cruise Line’s Fantasy Ship.
Disney 365 offers more Rock Star hairstyles, if your daughter is more of a diva than a princess and wants a gorgeous hairdo while you are at Disneyland and California Adventure. In fact, they use so much gel that the hairstyles often stay for several days, even through sleeping and swimming.
I love how they let the girls choose colored hair extensions.
This first style is ‘Take a Bow’, and the girls can choose one color of extension as part of the package.
We just got back from a holiday Disney cruise to the Bahamas, where they offered these darling and easy styles for your toddler or young girl, along with glitter make up. Very cute and easy princess makeover!
Cute and easy chic wintry fingernails for any occasion, this tutorial was featured by Disney Style. Hope you like it!

These girls’ hairstyles were mostly done at Disney resort salons (Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique; Disney Studio 365 etc), also called Princess Makeovers, but would work well to be redone for fairy and princess costumes, respectively. Some clearly have hair extensions added, which can be purchased fairly inexpensively at Target, Claires, etc.
This cute girl got a full ‘Princess Makeover’ (Tiana-inspired), including face paint, which her mom posted on DISBoards (follow link to see more).
If you want to add some pizazz to your little girl’s Halloween costume, face paint can be a great way to go. There are lots of kids face paints available, from brands like snazaroo, which have gels, powders, glitters and more! If you aren’t feeling artsy, you could also get a children’s face paint temporary tattoo of sorts, such as from Fan Stamp, which are hypoallergenic and turn out perfectly every time!
I have featured some of my favorite face paint inspiration, for Fairy Costumes, Princesses, Unicorns and even an Angel!

Disneyland’s Studio 365 (Store in Downtown Disney in California) does makeovers on little girls hair that has more variety than the Princess Hairstyles at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (Located inside Disneyland, which mostly does sleek buns with tiaras). The 365 hairstyle menu usually involves cornrows/twists, then add colorful clip in extensions and glitter. These are perfect for my daughter, who wants to be a rockstar/pop star for Halloween. Also works for pirates, princesses, fairies, and any costume you want to style up a little!
This is the new Pirate ‘do, with a crown french braid into a bun, along with pink and purple hair extensions:

Below, these colorful bow hairstyles using clip-in extensions (sold and used at Studio 365) could be done for a variety of Princess, Fairy or rockstar Halloween costumes. To see a step-by-step for this little one’s Studio Disney 365 hairstyle, click here.
